RYAN JOSEPH SWARTZ (he/him) is a New York City-based actor, director, and teaching artist. Originally a native of Oklahoma, he has spent over ten years in the academic community, where he has worked as both a stage director and an award-winning acting & speech coach.  On stage Ryan has appeared in a variety of roles, including select favorites: Audrey II in Little Shop of Horrors, Edward Sheridan in Someone Who’ll Watch Over Me and, most recently, A Clown in a groovy ‘70s adaptation of William Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing. Ryan received his MFA in Acting from the Actors Studio Drama School at Pace University and is currently a finalist at the Actors Studio in NYC.
